The Program comes in line with the directions of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to launch an initiative in cooperation with the Department of Education and Knowledge and the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi to explore emerging talent and develop their artistic skills, the thing that will provide a platform and a stimulating environment to enable students from grade 1 to grade 12 to participate in the arts arena in Abu Dhabi.
The programme highlights creativity and artistic innovation among emerging talent in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra Regions while providing inspirational models for gifted students, the Programme provides customized programs for each student based on their special talent, skills, and capabilities in the areas of visual and performance arts such as acting, theater, singing, piano, zither, lute, ballet, photography and painting, to achieve the common objectives of the development of the artistic landscape of Abu Dhabi.
From her side, Dr. Mona Al Ameri, the Talent Development Programme project manager declared that "The Department of Education and Knowledge and the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi are very keen to support and develop the talented students in the visual and performing arts," and a survey is being conducted for parents of the talented students to take their opinions and suggestions for further improvements required for the programme, and a summer programme will be offered next month as part of the talented Students Development Program"
And on the other side, Rania Nasser, Director of Education and Communication at the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, said: "We were glad to work with the Department of Education and Knowledge to implement the Mouhibity programme, a project that helped us to identify a promising group of talented students in various creative fields, the program has enabled those talented students to develop these capabilities and we hope they will continue to expand their skills to contribute effectively to the overall art scene."
